The Department exists to classify what probably should have been left unclassified: creative compulsions, studio habits, questionable judgment, material obsessions, and the assorted behavioral evidence produced by people who insist on making things anyway.
The Artist Collection
The Artist Collection is the Institute’s public record of these conditions, translated into apparel, objects, pins, mugs, bags, and other useful documentation.
